I hope you were able to enjoy our unexpected break.  We have been studying weather and what a great opportunity to talk about it in real life!

Tuesday – Students will play a Kahoot review game in preparation for the test on Weather.  We will continue to complete a class weather tracker.

Thursday – Students will put together all of our new information about weather to create their own forecast! Students will receive a rubric and be asked to gather information for a US location of their choice and create a unique forecast.  They may choose to work alone or in groups no larger than 4.  Each student must present their own location on a weather map. ( a group with 4 members will discuss 4 locations) Presentations can be done live in class with a paper map, pre-filmed as a tv forecast, or using a powerpointprezi, sway, etc.

Friday – Students will present their weather forecasts to the class.  Students will score other presenters and field feedback during their own presentation.
