April 29 - May 3, 2019

We have made it through TN Ready and can now focus on retakes and our project!  Students can still review for the retakes on their own using our padlet.

Monday 
Students will continue to work on a project using all of their learning from the year. They are creating a planet, biomes, a spaceship to get there and a marketing piece to persuade people to come!

Tuesday
Students will continue working on their in-class project. Small Groups on Weather will take place.

Wednesday
Students will continue working on their in-class project. Small Groups on Weather will take place. Retakes will be offered in class for Weather.

Thursday
Students will continue working on their in-class project. Retakes will be offered in class for Weather.

Friday
Students will continue working on their in-class project. Retakes will be offered in class for Weather.

TN Ready continues this week!  Science will be completed online on Thursday morning! Students can still review on their own using our padlet.

Students have begun to work on a project using all of their topics for the year. Using all that they have learned, they are to create a planet, biomes, a spaceship to get their and a marketing piece to persuade people to come!

Tuesday
Students will continue working on their in-class project.

Students will continue working on their in-class project.

Thursday
Students will continue working on their in-class project.

Friday
Students will continue working on their in-class project.

Happy Monday!  TN Ready begins this week!  Because of this, our in-class review is officially over!  However, students can still review on their own using our padlet. https://padlet.com/lisareedpreston/5dz047puclms

Monday 
Students will participate in a Quizlet Live review game on all Science review topics.

Tuesday
Students will begin TN Ready (Literacy) so we will have a shortened class schedule.  Today we will introduce a project that will include the standards we have covered this year.  It will be an in-depth, in-class project.
Wednesday
Students will begin to form teams and conceptualize their project.

Thursday
Students will decide upon group roles and begin to expand upon their project brainstorming.
Friday
No School!  Spring Holiday

It's another super Monday!  TN Ready review continues this week!  Our review focus will be on Biodiversity and Human Impact on the Environment.  The padlet we created will be a great study resource!  https://padlet.com/lisareedpreston/5dz047puclms

Monday 
Students will participate in a Quizlet Live review game on our review topics.

Tuesday
Students will complete a formative assessment to determine their current level of understanding of our biodiversity and human impact standards.
 
Wednesday
Students will work with our VSVS visitors for the final time this year!
Thursday
Students will be split into groups and those who need help on the biodiversity and human impact standards will complete a small group to increase understanding.  Students who do not have any misconceptions will use this time to learn and practice computer programming. 
 
Friday
Students will complete an engineering challenge and have a final review on our ecosystems standards.
